The Gore Roll is a collection of 84 coats of arms borne by invividuals living chiefly in colonial New England around 1700. They were collected, drawn and painted by John Gore (1718–1796), a coach painter of Boston. The original Gore Roll is owned now by the New England Historic Genealogical Society. David Appleton recently published the Gore Roll with commentary and new drawings. Mr. Appleton submitted the abbreviated entries that are contained in this Registry.
