The armiger serves in the United States Air Force, with him having been in the Civil Air Patrol since he was twelve. The colors are Azure and Argent (blue and silver) for representation of on-going service. The fess Argent (silver) is inspired from the Air Force’s colors where the Argent (silver) crosses through the Azure (blue). The Azure (blue) also represents his love of flying and service as an Air Battle Manager. The three caltraps represent the position to direct aerial battles to disrupt enemy action as well as past struggles, present actions, and future in warfare. The three caltraps are colored Sanguine (maroon) to represent patience and strength to direct battle while under stress being airborne. This is to connect with the motto of "Supra Vires" being "Strength Above".
