Registration number 20150316F
This certifies that the heraldic arms of George Richard Urciuoli which are created in his honor and conveyed to his descendants are registered as an original design and described by the blazon below
The three urns in silver in the left side on blue are the literal translation from Italian and Latin of the surname URCIUOLI- meaning "little pitchers" or "little urns." Blue is the designer's preferred color which figures prominently in many traditional Italian arms and shields.
The four red bands on gold represent historical colors of southern Italy (through its historical links to Aragon and Spain).
The Armiger's father(and the submitter's paternalgrandfather), Generoso Urciuoli, emigrated to the United States from the town of Aiello Del Sabato in the province of Avellino located east of the city of Naples in southern Italy, hence the inclusion of red bands on gold in the right side/dexter pale of the shield.
The URCIUOLI shield arms are an original design done by Mr. Urciuoli, which have been in familial use since 2001 but have not been officially registered with any heraldic organizations or authorities prior to 22 February 2014.
The arms are also blazoned in Italian and Spanish, to wit:
Alexander William Urciuoli
