Rationale
The arms reflect several noteworthy items: the barry wavy lines illustrate the armiger’s love of boating, especially on Lake Murray. The anchor is a pun on the armiger’s middle name, Andrew, as represents Saint Andrew. In chief, the sun rising is another illusion to the armiger’s love of outdoors. The crest is a Golden Retriever, a clear reference to the armiger’s dog, and bears in its arms a shotgun. This effectively combines the armiger’s love of his dog, hunting, and his current occupation.
