Robert Peter Marsh

Registration number 20100406A

This certifies that the heraldic arms of Robert Peter Marsh are registered as a original design and described by the blazon below

Arms: Per chevron Sanguine and Azure an eagle displayed Argent.
Crest: On a wreath Argent and Azure a vol argent.
Mantling: Sanguine doubled argent.
Mottoes: Acta sanctorum ( Deeds of the saints); Dum spiro, spero (While I breath, I hope)

Design rationale

I chose the tinctures sanguine (blood red) and azure (blue) for the field: red for the blood of Christ and blue for being steadfast. The eagle stands for strength, bravery, and alertness -- or one who is high-spirited, ingenious, quick-witted, and judicious -- and wings "displayed" signifies protection. As the oldest son in my family I feel a duty to be the protector of my siblings. Because of this I also chose a vol (a set of wings) and the shield tinctures divided by a chevron to show my roll as a protector.
