Biographical information

I was born December 1953 to George & Melba (Lang) Burroughs. My 3rd great grandfather Raymond Burroughs was the first Burroughs in my direct bloodline to come to America at the age of 18, from County Mayo, Ireland in 1787. I dedicate this badge to him and my ancestors. I have changed the motto from Latin to Gaelic, the meaning remains the same.

Design rationale

This badge is taken in part from my coat of arms. The Claymore was added because both Scots and Irish alike used it in battle.
