Biographical information

I live in Southwest Florida, where I serve as a Park Ranger in the Florida Park Service. I am originally from Southern Idaho.

Design rationale

The green (Vert) of the field represents my love of nature and the outdoors. The red (Gules) of the field and gold (Or) of the charges reflect the colors of a Florida sunset, which symbolize the old saying that "Park Rangers get paid in sunsets". The escallops represent the state of Florida in which I currently reside and Lovers Key State Park, where I started my Park Service career. The portcullis represents my role as a Park Ranger in the protection of both park visitors and the natural resources of Florida. My crest is a pine tree which represents my home state of Idaho and also my love of nature.
