Registration number 20080117E
This certifies that the heraldic arms of Todd Michael Silvia are registered as an original design and are described by the blazon below
Todd Silvia's arms are designed to reflect several
family relationships. The first is his surname, Silvia. To reference
Silvia, similar to latin silva, or forest, five trees are used.
Further, the trees are New England pine trees to reference Todd's
origins in New England, given that these pine trees (shown eradicated)
are used in this way in the colonial New England flag. Additionally,
his relationship with his siblings with the surname MacLea is also
illustrated by use of the New England pine tree, which is also to be
found in the arms of that particular American MacLea family. Lastly,
the bordure charged with maple leafs represents his mother's family of
French Canadian origin (Clements and Thibodeaus). In the crest, the
French Canadian connections are further evidenced by including a wolf
holding a maple leaf. The wolf has no particular symbolism but is a
creature for which the armiger has great affection.
Todd was born in 1969, in Fall River, Massachusetts, to Eli Silvia,
Jr., and Lorraine Silvia née Clement (later MacLea). Todd Silvia's
field of occupation is printing and publishing.
