Born on 25 October 1973 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Earned a Bachelor of Arts (magna cum laude) in history and religion from High Point University in 1998 and a Master of Arts in Christian doctrine and history from Regent University Divinity School in 2003. Granted honoris causa the degree Doctor of Divinity by World Christianship Ministries of Fresno, California in 2008. Ordained into the Christian ministry by the authority of Saint Luke Evangelical Christian Ministries of Hephzibah, Georgia on 17 May 2007.
