Riepe College House's (then known as Spruce College House) Martina Trucco's winning design for Riepe College House features a blue shield, diagonally dissected by a gold band. On the shield face are a sheaf of wheat (the harvest of one's hopes), and a quill pen and ink well (writing and educated employment). On the gold band, there are three fleurs-de-lis, symbols of purity and light, in silver. Blue signifies truth and loyalty, gold represents "elevation of the mind," and silver indicates peace and sincerity. Atop the shield is a single, bold unicorn in profile, which stands for extreme courage, virtue, and strength. The Riepe motto is "Veritas et Honestas" -- Truth and Honor.
