Design Rationale

The two lions represent the ever-present conflicts in life that are held in balance and peace is maintained. The seven pointed star is a nod towards my Cherokee heritage as well as the blue and white chief, as in Cherokee tradition when a couple is married a blue and white blanket was given to the new couple. The barry wavy is the ocean to denote my and my fathers service in the US Navy. The crest means that I will give my all during peace and war.
