Rationale

The red chevronel on a white background pointing to the north is the Canadian history of the armiger's family. The blue chevronel pointing to the south entwined with the red is his United States birth. The combination of the red, white and blue gives recognition to his family's French origins. The sable field represents the royal warrant which the founder of the armiger's family in the new world was brought to New France under. The two ravens are that we should think to the future but remember the past. For it is by our strength of character and virtuous acts that we succeed not by our words.
