Registration and Services Policies


The registrant must register, at minimum, a heraldic design that is usually displayed on a shield or a badge. In addition, if registering a shield design, a crest and up to two (2) mottoes may be registered. If the mantling tinctures differ from the torse or primary tinctures, a mantling may be registered. A badge may be registered with a shield or on its own.

No other components, embellishments, or devices may be registered unless granted or legislated by the applicable local or national government.

All designs must be blazonable and conform to the general rules and conventions of blazon. All blazons will be formulated with proper heraldic grammar and vocabulary. Please see the Blazon page for more information.


The Registry sells certificates to individuals containing only the heraldic images owned by that individual or created for that individual by a representative of the Registry. Images created by representatives of the Registry will be sold only to that individual or entity that it was created for. The Registry does not sell, in any form, any images to persons or entities that do not own the images. Nor does the Registry display or store any images unless they are conveyed to us with permission to display them by the owner of the images. Armigers must purchase a certificate or commission artwork from the Registry in order to have their images displayed on this website or in its publications.


We do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item you purchased is defective. If you receive a defective item, please contact us at with details of the product and the defect.

Upon receipt of the returned product, we will fully examine it and notify you via e-mail, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a refund or a replacement as a result of the defect. If you are entitled to a replacement or refund, we will replace the product or refund the purchase price, using the original method of payment.

Refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by you. You are responsible for any loss or damage to hardware during shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping.
