Crest: The American Eagle is meant to display the bearers patriotism to the United States and the rock represents the name given to the bearers unit, "The Rock."

Note

Guidon (Banner): The bearer has adopted a swallowtail guidon bearing a 20-inch hoist by a 27-inchfly, the swallow-tail end forked l0 inches, instead of a traditional banner. The blazon is that of arms.

The finial is a spearhead and adorned with a Vietnam Campaign Streamer as prescribed by Army Regulation 840-10 and The Institute of Heraldry.
