Biographical information

Armiger is a lawyer and graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. Armiger descends from the Seibels of Hauenstein of the Rhineland-Pfalz Germany, the first of whom was Johannes Seibel (1692-1762) among whose descendants were prominent statesmen and mayors.

Design rationale

The open book symbolizes my command of language both written and spoken. The olive branches represent my tendency toward peace and good tidings. The gavel represents the common legal/political professions of many of my Seibel ancestors. The oak tree bearing fruit represents the biblical passage of the sower and his seeds that grow in order to save souls, also symbolizing the urgency to bear fruit to be remembered by. The foxes represent my mode of defensiveness. The twelve roundels represent the twelve apostles. The black and gold are the colors of Pittsburgh where nearly all the Hauenstein Seibels immigrating to America immigrated. The displayed eagle represents both Hauenstein and Germany. The cross represents Hauenstein and the balance represents justice and law.
