In 1977, armiger presented with Heroism metal by the Boy Scouts of America National Court of Honor for unusual heroism and extraordinary skill and resourcefulness in saving Robert C. Urquidi's life at extreme risk to his self. In 2002 armiger's son, Anthony C. Urquidi, was born and named after St. Anthony; Anthony was baptized in Russia. In 2006 Anthony, at the age of 4, was lost through an act of injustice. In 2008 armiger received blessing for years of faithful service to the Orthodox Church by Metropolitan Herman, Archbishop of Washington and New York and Metropolitan of All America and Canada.
The three ostrich feathers in the crest are a sign of obedience and serenity. The Big Dipper represents the new land, Alaska. The lighting bolt symbolizes my profession, electrician. The Sliver Hand in azure field represent male lineage (Armiger is the first son of Arthur, being the first son of Benjamin, being the first son of Joseph, being the first son of Rafael, being the first son of Rafael).
