Registration number 20080610A
This certifies that the heraldic arms of Christopher Scott Ballinger are registered as an original design and described by the blazon below
The armiger was born in Richmond, Kentucky and attended Eastern Kentucky University. He served briefly in the KY Army National Guard and began a career of public safety starting with emergency medical services then moving to law enforcement. After starting a family and finally moving to Florida after almost ten years in law enforcement, he now continues in the public safety field by training law enforcement dispatchers.
The design is based on the armiger's German and English heritage. The bent arm in armor with the sword denotes the armiger's history of leadership positions in law enforcement and the sword denotes the varied military careers of the armiger's family. The Germanic eagle is a direct reference to the armiger's German heritage while the arms themselves are primarily English in design. The crest displays a panther, fierce but very loving of her children and defending them to her death. The arrow in the panther's mouth symbolizes readiness for battle.
