Crest: On a wreath Argent and Azure a hare sejant erect, bearing a short sword proper.

Biographical note

Born in Germany, have lived in the US most of my life. Married with two children. Interests include history, fishing, hunting, cooking, and reading.

Design rationale

The chape-ploye Azure, with variations, has traditionally been used by the Roedl family in the Kingdom of Bohemia, from where my branch of the family also originated. The three crosses pattee represent my German heritage and Christian beliefs. The hare in the crest represents Christian humility; however, being armed, it also gives notice that it is prepared to defend itself.
