Biographical note

John Foster of Boston, an eminent merchant from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, was of the council of safety 1689; representative 1690 at the May session for Portsmouth; Colonel of Boston regiment named in the Charter of William and Mary. He died February 9, 1711.
