Design rationale

The Argent of the shield signifies purity. The chevron signifies protection. The cross signifies my belief in Jesus the Lord. The bells signfy the two southern bells in my life, my wife and daughter. The galley signifies my ancestors coming to the colonies. The thistle signifies my scottish ancestry. The martlet is used to represent a martin, a bird very simular to a martlet, and therefore represents my Martin ancestry and my connection to the Clan Cameron.
