This certifies that the heraldic arms of Cory Lyman McHenry are registered as an original design and are described by the blazon below
The eagle head from the original MacEinery arms as an Eagle displayed Vert. But since armiger cannot prove that he is descended from this line, mainly because of adoptions within the family, he did not use a green eagle; black was chosen crest and arms.
The roach alludes to arms commonly associated with the surname of his mother, Roche, but in a way as to not be confused with these arms to which she may not be entitled..
The double links of chain at times signify an adoption and for other meanings to the armiger.
A chevron is often used as a sign of protection and armiger have a tendency to protect self and others. Armiger chose to have a chequered chevron with Argent as the central colour because the silver would bring out the Roach and not draw the eye away from the shield to the crest.
Son of Randall William McHenry, brother of Randall James McHenry.
