Biographical information

Armiger was born in 1973 in the county of Dorset, England. He has had a varied career in financial services and now in event management. He is interested in theology and has an honors degree in theology and religious studies. He is active in the local church and undertakes charity work for several organizations.

Design rationale

The main color scheme and use of a wavy fess is to create a nautical feel inspired by the maritime activities of his two grandfathers. The Romany wheel pays tribute to his father’s Romany heritage. The torches represent his love of learning and theological education. The three lions are from the arms of the English county of Dorset where he was born. The two books reflect his mother’s calling as a librarian and emphasize the love of learning. The tun pays tribute to his surname, Cooper (meaning barrel maker). The ancient Saxon type crown used in place of a wreath emphasizes his overall Englishness while the flames issuant therefrom pick up the theme of learning from the torches of the arms.
