Employed is Merchant Marine as an officer (1967-1971); ZIM Israel Navigation Co. Ltd, Haifa (1971-1972); South African Marine Corp., Cape Town (1972-1973); Sugar Lines, London (1973) Received Certificate of Competency - Master Mariner (1973-1976). Employed at Zapata Marine, Houston as ship captain (1976-1979); Sea Horse Incorp., Morgan City as captain (1979-1983), Qatar National Nav. and Transport Co. as Captain (1983-1984); Ipedex Production, Paris as Marine Advisor (1984-1985); Algosabi Marine, Dharan, Saudi Arabia (1987-1988); Kuwait Oil Tanker Co. as Captain (1990-1995); Abu Dhabi Petroleum Port Operating Co., as Captain (1995). Retired 1987-1988. During Persian Gulf conflict, escorted US flag tankers through the Gulf, captain of mine sweepers Hunter and Striker. Received rank of Lt. Commander. In 1984 became Honorary Colonel of the Reales Tercios, Spain; in 1997 Chevalier of the Order of St.Stanislas; in 2000 Grand Prior of Poland; in 2003 Grand Chancellor of Europe; in 2007 Grand Commissioner of the Order of St.Stanislas.

The cross represents Christianity, the crescent represents Muslim influence, the albatross line of division represents the sea, and thus the shield represents my life story.
