Design rationale

My arms represents my European's ancestors and honors my family name Crochetière. The arms represents strength, pride, courage and determination which my ancestors through all the time have used to survive. The crest on the helm is the ram, my zodiac sign. The 'Fleurs-de-lis' on the shield symbolizes my homeland, Québec. The seedman and the sheaf of wheat represent me, my father and some ancestors who had cultivate the earth. The two rings represent my union with my wife. The tree is an important signification of the future descendants by the branches and the roots are the base of these beautiful generations who have built our present. The smaller shield in the center symbolizes the sign of peace which I want for me and my descendants.
